Terms & Conditions

ARTWORK & CONTENT

Zimprint cannot accept complaints due to content or artwork that has been supplied incorrectly – It is accepted that all responsibility for supplied content remains with you. Please double check artwork before supplying, as we may not be able to stop printing once approved.

PLEASE NOTE: Whilst Zimprint always undertakes to provide the best print quality possible, if you are asking for an urgent job to be printed where no proofing has been done, no test print or hardcopy pre-approval given, you unconditionally accept the risks involved and will be held responsible for payment regardless of the outcome.

PRINT COLOUR TOLERANCES

Please remember what you see on the screen is very different to what is printed. Zimprint uses digital printing machines and unless requested differently, the CMYK or four colour model is used. Print results are dependent on many factors, including the character of the paper (grain direction, whiteness etc) different media weights and finishes used, environmental conditions (especially humidity) and other variables. Printing results differ by print house, press operator, press manufacturer and press run. If Zimprint are assisting with original work done by another print house or doing a reprint we cannot guarantee exact colour match because of these factors. We will always do our best to match colours as close as possible wherever possible. Supply of pantone references and hard

copy samples do help us achieve this.

CUTTING / FOLDING TOLERANCES

Our customers are asked to accept industry standard tolerances for cutting, guillotining, folding etc,; which are a minimum of 3mm. No guarantee will be given on finishing print jobs from artwork supplied without this tolerance. For technical product reasons, we unfortunately cannot take into consideration the grain of the paper when processing your order. We therefore cannot always rule out the possibility, under certain circumstances, of slight opening or cracking when sheets are folded.

LEADTIME TOLERANCES

Our standard minimum turn around time is 3-5 working days. Whilst we understand urgent print jobs are sometimes a part of customer requirements, we cannot ever fully guarantee delivery dates requested. We can, however, guarantee that every effort will be made to achieve required deadlines.

Factors that may affect delivery include natural causes (weather etc), couriers, possible equipment failure and the like.

Please note urgent jobs will cost more than those requested within our standard minimum turn around times.

SPOT UV / EMBOSSING / FOILING

Special processes such as Spot UV, Embossing and Foiling all have a 2mm stamping tolerance. This is due to high quantity batch processing and inherent inaccuracies involved in the production method.
